
Dr. Owen Allison grew up in
York County PA, graduating from York Suburban High
School in 1967. He earned a Bachelor’s degree in
Psychology from Temple University and went on to
graduate from the University of Pittsburgh’s School
of Dental Medicine. Dr. Allison spent 2 years in
the Naval Dental Corps stationed in Norfolk, Va.
He then returned to Pittsburgh and associated in a local
family practice. In the early 1980’s Dr Allison and his
wife Linda, decided to move their young family back to
south central PA to set up his current practice in
Lancaster County.
Today the
Allison’s have 2 grown children, Olivia and Justin.
Dr.
Allison and his staff of 6 provide a full range of
dental services to a growing number of patients and
families in western Lancaster County. Along with these
services, Dr. Allison has maintained a safe
mercury-free practice for the last 13 years.
Special emphasis is placed on safe removal of defective
mercury-silver fillings. All restorations are done with
bonded, tooth-colored composites or porcelains.
Dr.
Allison has a special interest in holistic health
care and has trained extensively in energy medicine
with the Central Pennsylvania Institute of Healing
Therapies. Dr. Allison is fully accredited with the
International Academy of Oral Medicine and Toxicology,
the leading coalition of mercury-free dentists
worldwide.
Dr.
Allison is a member of the American Dental Association,
the Pennsylvania Dental Association, the Lancaster
County Dental Association, and the Academy of General
Dentistry. |
